The New Barnet supermarket wars

Asda to the north of you, Tesco to the east of you... New Barnet won't stand for it. (And - anyway - they've already a Sainsbury's.) The battle is over two substantial areas of land and radical plans for redevelopment that would effectively replace existing businesses and create small stores, homes and, yeah, supermarkets.
