First "legacy" neighbourhood named, with comedic lack of imagination

They're calling it "East Village". Just so you don't confuse it with Manhattan's historic Beat/hippie/hipster/gentrification neighbourhood east of Greenwich Village (above), this one (below) will be next to The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in E20, and will feature a mixture of new housing, plus an educational campus called Chobham Academy and a medical centre.
