Another of those data-crunches courtesy of Mouseprice reveals Kensington's Victoria Road as England's most expensive, with an average property price of £6.4m. Kensington & Chelsea was home to 14 of the 20 most expensive streets. More here.

It seems absolutely ludicrous that house prices in London can actually increase due to them being situated next to other ridiculously over priced houses. I wonder just how many bankers and MPs live on these so called millionaire avenues. If we are ever going to truly beat this recession then we need to get first time buyers on to the market, not more billionaires buying homes only squatters will ever live in.
