Olympics renting rush... it's on
According to this report in Bloomberg, Londoners are already looking to secure 2012 tenancies in the Olympic region, and are looking at up to 70% more than normal rents. Hotel rates are expected to double, and it looks as if there's going to be a giant shortfall in accommodation anyway. A couple of estate agents are quoted suggesting that landlords who wait until the very last moment will be able to pretty much name their price.
