Reluctant tenants overtake reluctant landlords

An Association of Residential Lettings Agents suggests that, coming up fast on the frustrated vendors forced to let because they can't sell, is a whole new group of buyers forced to rent because they can't find the right property or the right mortgage.

Research from ARLA also reveals that during the final three months of 2009 an average 41% of members surveyed reported more tenants than properties, compared with just 24% in the previous quarter.

Unbelievable isn't it? We bail out the banks and they keep all of the cash themselves resulting in the property market stalling, house prices stalling, killing genuine property investors and taking the public for the mugs they look like. Then they pay themselves millions in bonuses for just keeping their noses clean. It really does stink doesn't it?
