London landlords need to think about cyclists
In Tokyo, cycling residents can stow their wheels in futuristic-looking, 6,000-capacity underground bike parks which stow cycles in a vast subterranean carousel at the touch of a button. In Rotterdam, secure spaces can be rented in lockable sheds on the street.

And in London you can chain it to lamppost, but they'll just nick the lamppost and you'll still need to buy a new one the next morning. The Independent reports on the London cyclists who demand better bike accommodation from their landlords.

Of course if you're a 'leading political figure', you can just chain it to a BOLLARD and then be surprised that a thief just lifts it over the bollard and away with it! (I'll add the links later when I find them again, for anyone who misses the reference!)
