Landlords - read the fine print - I mean, wouldn't you?
Think of it' they said to her, 'Five years rent sorted, isn't that great?'. Agreeing that it did indeed sound good, Konnie signed the forms, only to find that agency then required their commission for the whole five years paid in advance! Even though she had not received any of the rent!

I'd like to think that's something I'd have known about before signing on the line that's dotted. But then, I'd like to think that's something anybody would have made sure they'd known about before signing. Of course, within five years... the tenant was in arrears.
