When is a mortgage offer not a mortgage offer?

Quite frequently, according to Property Portfolio Rescue (one of those cash-for-your-home companies). Here, they claim chains are falling apart left, right and centre, due to offers being withdrawn for no apparent reason at the very last minute. The idea, they argue, that it's becoming easier to get a home loan is illusory.

I think people are still getting loans and buying property but I think the shift has swapped to a buyers market and we have been living in a sellers market for too long. Buyers need to be aware of current property market and make decisions based on knowledge and how you can gain from your property investment.

I agree with Clare's view above. It is the duty of the buyers to be aware of the current property market status and analyze and find out, what would be possible and take a right decision based on that.
