Days after the Nationwide index's modest rise, Hometrack's stops declining for the first time in 20 months, showing zero change for May. On the year, prices are down 9.6%. Also like the Nationwide's report, the accompanying commentary isn't as positive as the raw data, and warns against ruling out further falls.
