RE East London prices. Well don't know about Stratford, but I do know Bow and would say that the hike has been pretty big around Mile End area. A house I looked at for £375,000 18 months ago just sold again for £495,000 and the only improvement was a coat of trendy white paint throughout (not expensive!) and some nice minimalist furniture that will of course be leaving with the owners. The kitchen and bathroom look just the same on the website and the garden too.
Not a bad return if you ask me and certainly t he Olympics affect.
