That's the message from a brand new Halifax survey into a thousand (a thousand? does that count as science?) homeowners in the UK? They were asked about how friendly they were with their neighbours, how much they'd trust them with a key or a secret. And the level of neighbourliness is officially up on this time five years ago. Scottish neighbours are the friendliest. London neighbours are the second most unfriendly. Second? I know, surprising isn't it? Apparently, you get the most unfriendly neighbours in the north east.
